A nighttime drone attack in the Izmail district damaged a medical facility, a grain warehouse, and residential buildings.
At dawn on January 30, Russia again attacked the Izmail district of the Odessa region with strike drones. This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
Two private houses, a grain warehouse, cars, and a district hospital were damaged as a result of the shelling.
Windows were broken in the medical facility, the facade and ceiling were damaged. A 26-year-old girl was injured and taken to the hospital.
According to the Izmail district military administration, the main target of the attack was the port infrastructure.
An air alert was declared in the region on January 29 at 23:12. The Air Force recorded the movement of drones from the Mykolaiv region in the direction of the Odesa region, and at 2:55 information appeared about new groups of “Shaheeds” from the Black Sea.
At 3:29 a.m., drones approached Izmail, and residents were urged to take shelter. The airstrike was only lifted at 4:50 a.m.
This is the second night in a row that Russia has attacked the Izmail district. The previous night, January 29, drones had also hit port infrastructure, causing destruction.
