The Russians transferred troops to the front by ships from the port of Berdiansk
The Security Service of Ukraine reported the suspicion to Russian government officials, who used the occupied Berdiansk seaport to transfer Russian troops to the front.
The Security Service has gathered evidence on three more Russian high-ranking officials who are involved in waging an aggressive war against Ukraine, the SBU reported.
Particularly about:
• Oleksandr Poshivay – Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation;
• Zakharia Dzioeva – Head of the Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport of Russia;
• Serhii Safonichev – the head of the federal institution “Administration of Sea Ports of the Sea of Azov” of the aggressor country.
After the capture of Berdiansk, they organized the use of the local sea trade port for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. According to the investigation, the perpetrators used civilian ships of the seaport to transfer Russian troops to the temporarily occupied regions of southern Ukraine.
This became especially relevant for the Kremlin after the explosion on the Kerch Bridge, when the logistical routes of the invaders and their supply through the temporarily occupied peninsula were disrupted.
In addition, those involved organized the construction of Russian fortifications and barriers on the territory of Berdyansk seaport and its water area.
On the basis of the collected evidence, the investigators of the Security Service informed Poshivay, Dzhioev and Safonichev in absentia about the suspicion under Part 5 of Art. 27, Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 2 of Art. 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (assistance in the waging of an aggressive war committed by a group of persons following a prior conspiracy).
Since the accused are on the territory of the Russian Federation, comprehensive measures are being taken to bring them to justice for crimes against our state.
It will be recalled that earlier the Security Service of Ukraine detained a Russian agent who was spying on the ships of the Armed Forces near the Odesa seaport.
Earlier, law enforcement officers detained another collaborator, who installed cameras near Mykolaiv port to spy on ships.
