The Russians tried to attack the ports of Odesa region
At night, the Russians again attacked the southern region with “Shahed-131/136” kamikaze drones. In particular, the enemy targeted the port infrastructure.
On the night of March 6, the Russians attacked southern Ukraine with kamikaze drones. In total, air defense units destroyed 20 targets: 2 in the Kherson region and 18 in the Odesa region, the Southern Defense Forces reported.
The enemy once again insidiously directed attack drones at populated areas and industrial facilities in the coastal zone. Drone maneuvers in residential areas made it difficult for air defense forces.
Another recreational facility, a gas pipeline, and residential buildings in the private sector were damaged as a result of falling fragments of downed drones in Odesa district. There was no information about the victims.
Natalya Gumenyuk, the head of the press center of the Southern Defense and Security Forces, said on the air of the telethon that the Russians tried to attack the port infrastructure as well, but thanks to combat work, the drones were destroyed by the sea.
