The initiative on the safe transportation of grain and food products from Ukrainian ports continues, the UN is working on the extension of the “grain agreement” in March.
The UN emphasized that there are difficulties, but work on them continues.
“The Black Sea Initiative can do more. We cannot let it end. Believe me, we will not allow termination. We can’t afford it, and Ukraine can’t,” Denise Brown, coordinator of the UN system in Ukraine, said, Interfax-Ukraine writes.
Brown emphasized the importance of neutrality for continuing the dialogue with the Russian Federation.
The coordinator reminded that the initiative should be continued in March.
“Before the last extension of the initiative in November, we spent a lot of time in September, October, working out many points,” she said.
