The work of the “grain corridor” worsened last week


From April 10 to 16, 7% more agricultural products were exported through the ports of Odesa than two weeks ago. At the same time, the number of loaded vessels decreased.

During the 37th week of operation of the “grain corridor”, 702.3 thousand tons of agricultural products were exported through the sea ports of the Odesa region. This is 7% more shipments through this channel than the week before last, reports he press service of the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business.

However, the number of copies downloaded this week was only 14 units. This is 2 vessels less than the indicator of the previous week. In fact, the increase in shipments was achieved due to the increase in the tonnage of vessels,” the UCAB reported.

The largest export volumes during the 37th week of operation of the “grain corridor” were:

– corn (56% of exports during this period);

– wheat (18%);

– sunflower cake (14%).

Ukrainian products went to the countries of Asia (China, Bangladesh, India and others), Europe (Spain, Portugal and Italy) and Africa (Egypt).
