They are once again trying to put the Bilhorod-Dnister port up for sale

The relevant tender was announced on October 9 by the regional administration of the State Property Fund of Ukraine.
The Bilhorod-Dnister sea trade port in Odesa region was once again put up for auction. The initial price of the object is almost 178 million hryvnias, Suspilne writes.
On October 9, the relevant tender was announced by the regional administration of the State Property Fund of Ukraine for Odesa and Mykolaiv regions on the Prozorro platform.
The complex for sale includes buildings and structures of the port, the recreation center “Priby” and the port point “Bugaz”. The winning bidder must not only purchase the complex, but also pay 20% VAT and pay off the company’s debt.
Bids are accepted until October 30, and the auction will take place on October 31.
It will be recalled that the port was first put up for sale in March 2023, but a buyer has not yet been found. In September of last year, the object was sold at a starting price of almost UAH 89 million, which was half the current value.
Reference: Bilhorod-Dnister port specializes in transshipment of wood, grain cargo, mineral fertilizers, iron ore pellets and metal products. The main activity of the enterprise is auxiliary maintenance of water transport.
Previously, USM wrote that potential buyers of the Bilhorod-Dnister port are deterred by the depth of the approach channel.
