The invaders launched almost 20 cruise missiles at Ukraine, using Kalibr launchers in the Black Sea.

On the night of March 6, Russian troops launched a missile strike on Ukraine from the Black Sea for the third time since the beginning of the year. This was announced by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, during a telethon.

This attack was the most massive — the enemy used almost two dozen cruise missiles from ships in the Black Sea and from strategic aviation. Energy and gas infrastructure facilities in different regions of the countries were hit.

“The Russians used their usual tactics: leave the bay, strike and return… We have already had the third use of cruise missile launchers since the beginning of the year: once in January, once in February and now in March. “We can’t say that they are actively using them, but this is the most massive shelling from the Black Sea in 2024,” Pletenchuk said.

The spokesman noted that overall, the activity of Russian missile carriers in the Black Sea has decreased this year. However, as of this morning, three enemy missile carriers remained in the area, two of which were equipped with missiles.

Earlier, USM reported that Ukraine is negotiating the presence of allies in the Black Sea to support shipping safety.
