Ukraine celebrates the anniversary of the Naval Ensign (photo)

The Naval Flag of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was hoisted on ships and boats of the national fleet and on administrative buildings of cities of Ukraine.

On Tuesday, April 29, the 107th anniversary of the Naval Flag was celebrated in Odesa, the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukrainereported.

On this occasion, flags were solemnly raised near the regional military administration and the city council. Representatives of the Naval Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defense Forces of Ukraine, local government and self-government bodies, and public activists took part in raising the flags.

During the ceremony, the participants honored the memory of the Ukrainian defenders who died as a result of Russian aggression with a minute of silence, after which cadets of the Naval Forces Institute of the National University “Odesa Maritime Academy” held a ritual of raising the Naval Flag of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Under this flag we have already won many victories. “For us, it is not only a symbol of the state, but also our naval soul,” the Ukrainian Navy noted.
