Ukraine exported 6.1 million tons of cargo by sea in December
Thanks to the work of the Ukrainian maritime corridor, Ukraine shipped a record amount of agricultural products by water transport in December since February 2022.
In December, a total of 6.1 million tons were shipped by water transport, writes Latifundist with reference to Spike Brokers. Thus, 1.3 million tons were sent through the ports of the Danube, 4.8 million tons through the ports of Great Odesa.
Brokers noted that freight rates remain at a stable level compared to December. This is facilitated by stable demand and the unchanged functioning of the Ukrainian maritime corridor in the Black Sea.
