Ukraine received new permits from Turkey for international cargo transportation

Permits are already available for ordering on the website of Ukrtransbezpeka, and they are issued at specialized points in the regions.

Ukraine received 1,000 permits from Turkey for cargo transportation to/from third countries. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Reconstruction of Ukraine.

These permits give Ukrainian companies the opportunity to carry out transportation between Turkey and third countries. The corresponding number of permits will satisfy the needs of carriers until the end of 2024.

These permits are now available for order on the website of Ukrainian Agency for Transport Safety. They can be obtained at special points of issue in the regions.

At the same time, bilateral and transit transportation between Ukraine and Turkey will continue to be carried out without permits — thanks to the liberalization of cargo transportation between these countries.

We will remind, at the beginning of 2024, the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine agreed with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey to increase the quota of permits by 40% to 3,500. Of these, 2,500 permits have already been used by Ukrainian carriers.

Previously, USM wrote that shipowners from Turkey “come” to the ports of Great Odesa more often than other international colleagues.
