Ukrainian shipbuilding will be stimulated with the help of leasing, – Minister of Economy

The state plans to stimulate domestic shipbuilding through long-term leasing.

Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko met with representatives of the European Business Association. The participants discussed balancing the fiscal policy of the state, transparent regulation of trade, food and pharmaceutical products and other issues important for entrepreneurs.

Now the Ministry of Economy is preparing to launch a number of projects with a high economic multiplier and social significance.

In particular, they plan to implement the “Machinery: Lending and Leasing at 5%” initiative. As part of the project, the state will stimulate Ukrainian machine and shipbuilding through long-term leasing.

The leasing service consists in the fact that the lessor provides the recipient with property for exclusive use for a certain period. This property is the property of the lessor or is acquired by him. In this way, machines and equipment can be rented for a long period of time – this allows the lessee enterprise to use the property and earn money with it, providing the lessor with a certain rental fee.
