UZ concluded contracts with Exxonmobil for the supply of diesel fuel
At the end of December, JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” concluded agreements with Lithuanian Orlen Lietuva and Singaporean Exxonmobil Asia Pacific PTE. LTD on the purchase of diesel fuel.
The contracts were published on January 12-13, enkorr reports with reference to documents in the Prozorro system.
The agreement with Exxonmobil provides for the delivery of 45,000 tons of diesel fuel class F (winter) to the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda by January 15. According to the contract with Orlen, UZ will receive 8.2 thousand tons of winter diesel fuel by the end of January. It should be delivered on FCA terms to the Motzkava terminal, near the Lithuanian-Polish border.
The estimated amount of the contract with Exxonmobil is $54 million, with Orlen Lietuva — $13 million. Earlier, the UZ explained that the amount specified in the documents does not determine the price of fuel per ton. The cost is determined according to a certain formula, and it depends on the world fuel indices.
At the end of May last year, the Cabinet of Ministers allowed Ukrzaliznytsia to purchase petroleum products under foreign economic agreements.
