Zaluzhnyi had a meeting with the IMO Secretary General to discuss maritime exports
The Ambassador and IMO Secretary General focused on the theft of Ukrainian grain, as well as the work of the maritime corridor.
This is reported by the Embassy of Ukraine in Great Britain.
During the working meeting, the Ambassador of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhnyi and the Secretary General of the International Maritime Organization, Arsenio Dominguez, discussed the issue of exports by sea.
“The focus is on prevention of theft of Ukrainian grain, security of sea corridors and Ukrainian port infrastructure,” the message says.
The ambassador also thanked Dominguez and the entire IMO secretariat for supporting Ukrainian sailors affected by Russian aggression.
It will be recalled that at the beginning of July, Ukraine detained a vessel on the Danube because of ties with the Russian Federation. The ship Usko Mfu entered Ukrainian waters after a voyage to occupied Sevastopol.
