Zelenskyy: Ukraine will develop the Grain from Ukraine program
For more than a year of operation of the program, Ukraine and partners have delivered necessary food to Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya and Yemen.
Last week, 7,665 tons of wheat flour from Ukraine arrived in Sudan. This will make it possible to satisfy the food needs of more than a million citizens of this country within a month, said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Also, 25 thousand tons were delivered to Nigeria to ensure food security.
In general, for more than a year of operation of the program, Ukraine and partners have delivered necessary food to a number of countries, including Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya and Yemen.
“We continue to develop the program and plan further supply,” the president concluded.
Previously, USM wrote that Ukraine exported almost 27 million tons of goods through the maritime corridor.
