Hungary has simplified the requirements for the transit of Ukrainian grain
The Government of Hungary canceled the requirements regarding the stay of transit Ukrainian grain on the territory of the state for no more than 7 days.
Hungary canceled requirements for the transit of Ukrainian grain transported by rail. The period of stay of transit grain on the territory of the country was extended to 15 days. This was reported by Valery Tkachev, Deputy Director of the Department of Commercial Work of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
According to the government order, during the emergency period, Ukrainian agricultural products can be imported into Hungary for the purpose of transit, if they leave the territory of Hungary on the 15th day, the message says.
It will be recalled that previously the maximum period of stay of transit grain in Hungary was 7 days. If this term was exceeded, the consignor had to pay a fine in the amount of 100% of the cost of transit grain.
Last month, Hungary announced the strengthening of control of transit Ukrainian grain, which is exported by “ways of solidarity”.
