The water condition has worsened within the Kherson port: details

In the waters of the water area of the Kherson seaport, deviations of water indicators from the norm are recorded. The situation is improving in the rivers in the south and in the Black Sea.

After the terrorist attack by the Russians at the Kakhovska HPP, experts continue to record exceeding the permissible concentrations of total iron in the Dnipro River. We are talking about the borders of the Kherson Sea Trade Port, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine reports.

Also, the content of anionic surface-active substances is increased in the water area.

At the same time, the level of chloride content continues to rise in the Ingulets and Pivdennyi Bug rivers. In water samples, 538.84 mg/dm3 and 680.64 mg/dm3 were recorded, respectively (with a norm of 350 mg/dm3).

“This trend indicates the return of indicators to the values recorded before the territories were flooded,” the agency explained.
