Pakistan purchased Russian oil for the second time
The second batch of Rosneft has arrived in Pakistan.
Pakistan purchased 55,000 tons of oil from Russia at a discount. The raw materials were delivered by the Clyde Noble ship to the port of Karachi, writes Daily Pakistan.
It will be recalled that in April 2023, Pakistan ordered 100,000 tons of Urals oil. Due to the small capacities of Pakistani ports, they decided to supply raw materials in several batches. The first ship with 45,000 barrels arrived in the country on June 12.
Interestingly, according to the statement of Oil Minister Musadiq Malik, Pakistan paid for the energy carrier in Chinese yuan. Also, according to traders, Islamabad orders Rosneft at a huge discount — up to $20 per barrel.
