Export of Ukrainian grain will be discussed at the session of the UN General Assembly
Another session of the UN General Assembly will be held in the second half of September. At it, Ukraine will discuss the involvement of new countries in the implementation of the Peace Formula and the export of Ukrainian grain to world markets.
As stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, the discussion of these topics will become a priority of the country at the General Assembly.
“The number one priority is the involvement of new countries in the implementation of the Peace Formula of President Zelenskyi and the implementation of the next steps on the way to holding the global summit of the Peace Formula. Priority number two is, of course, the issue of exporting Ukrainian grain to world markets,” Kuleba noted.
He added that the UN plays its role in the issue of grain export, and the whole world is extremely interested in the results of this process, especially the countries of Africa and Asia.
“Global food security and bread prices now, unfortunately, depend on Russian blackmail. And we have to free the world from Russia’s ability to blackmail the world with hunger,” Kuleba emphasized.
In addition, according to the minister, there will certainly be bilateral meetings within the UN General Assembly session.
“There we will talk about weapons and about new defense packages and support for Ukraine,” informed the head of the MFA.
