More than 300 ships have already passed through the Ukrainian maritime corridor

During the 4 months of operation of the maritime corridor in the Black Sea, 10 million tons of cargo were exported from Ukraine.

“Already 302 ships have exported the products of Ukrainian farmers and other goods to 24 countries of the world,” said  Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine.

According to him, during the 4 months of operation of the corridor, it was possible to expand the range of goods and start their export.

The volume of agricultural products also increased significantly: from 278,000 tons in the first month to almost 5 million tons now.

“Despite Russia’s systematic attacks on the port infrastructure, the Ukrainian corridor is working – since its launch, the ports of Greater Odessa have accepted 337 new ships for loading, and another 79 are being prepared to accept them in the near future,” the minister emphasized.
