UZ canceled restrictions on transportation to the port of Chornomorsk

The conventional ban on shipments to the port of Chornomorsk was canceled.

This was reported by the deputy director of the department of commercial work of the UZ Valerie Tkachev.

Thus, on the morning of April 22, approximately 590 wagons with cargo of various types were heading towards the port of Chornomorsk.

“Currently, works on the restoration of the railway infrastructure of the port of Chornomorsk are continuing. Work to overcome the consequences of missile strikes on individual terminals in the Port of Pivdenny is also ongoing,” Valerii Tkachev said.

In particular, over the last week, the number of wagons with grain moving towards the ports of Greater Odessa increased (from 6,901 wagons to 7,608 wagons).

As a reminder, Ukrzaliznytsia introduced the first convention at the Chornomorsk station from April 11 to 13 for all cargoes and all recipients. Subsequently, restrictions on cargo transportation to the Chornomorsk station were extended until April 17. The third convention was introduced for the period from April 18 to 22 at Chornomorsk-Port and Chornomorsk-Port-export stations.
