Tariffs for shipments by water transport from Ukraine have decreased due to limited trading activity due to the holidays.

We are talking about a reduction in freight rates for boats and vessels of the handy size class, Spike Brokers analysts report.

As for panamax, this segment looks stable.

Costs for transportation by handsizes from the deep-sea ports of Odessa to the eastern Mediterranean and Tunisia fell by $1-2, to Spain and the east coast of Italy – by $2.

Tariffs for transportation from the Danube ports to Marmara and eastern Greece also decreased by $1. The cost of transportation to Israel has decreased by $3.

In turn, barge freight to Constanta remained stable, while to Ruse or Silistra fell by €0.5.

Rates remain stable for panamax shipping from deepwater ports to southern China and Vietnam.

• Izmail – Constanta (1-3 thousand tons) @€10;

• Izmail – Ruse/Silistra (1-3 thousand tons) @€14.5-15.5;

• Ishmael – Israel (5-7 thousand tons) @$28-29;

• Reni – Marmara, Turkey (5-7 thousand tons) @$17-18.

Market rates of transportation from sea ports:

• Chornomorsk – Tunisia (30-35 thousand tons) @ $33-34;

• Chornomorsk – Eastern Mediterranean (30-35 thousand tons) @$23-24;

• Chornomorsk – China (60-65 thousand tons) @$54-56.
