Hapag-Lloyd resumes transportation to and from Ukrainian ports
Germany’s Hapag-Lloyd may become the first container operator since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion to resume services in Ukrainian ports.
The service should be operational from the first of June, reports Splash 24/7Splash 24/7 with reference to Alphaliner. It is worth noting that Hapag-Lloyd has not yet announced the service on its social networks and website.
It is noted that Hapag-Lloyd will start operating between Romania and Ukraine with the help of the Odesa company Iteris Feeders.
Earlier, the Ukrainian mass media also reported that the Swiss MSC plans to resume regular feeder service to the ports of Great Odesa in June 2024.
Late last year, USM also reported that Hapag-Lloyd was opening its own offices in Bulgaria.
