EU representatives visited the port infrastructure of the Kernel agricultural holding

Representatives of the Trade and Economic Department of the EU Representation visited the company’s export and processing facilities.

This was reported by the press service of the agricultural holding.

As part of the study of the impact of the sea corridor and the challenges faced by the agricultural sector of Ukraine over the past two years, the export and processing facilities of Kernel in the Odesa region were visited by representatives of the Trade and Economic Department of the EU Delegation.

The head of the department, Alberto Fernádez-Diez, and the deputy head of the department, Nicolas Sibon, got acquainted with the port infrastructure of the company, which ensures the transshipment of grain crops and vegetable oils, as well as the oil extraction plant.

Thus, in 9 months of the 2024 fiscal year, the company managed to export more grain than in the entire 2023 fiscal year.

“We are working on expanding the export opportunities of the entire agricultural market, which ultimately supports the entire economy of the country,” the company emphasized.

USM previously reported that Kernel uses AI to predict grain development.
