Arrested vessels to be sold at auction in Ukraine for almost UAH 4 million
The arrested vessels, the total value of which is almost UAH 4 million, were put up for auction at OpenMarket.
The auction for the sale of the arrested vessels Mars and Pegasus will be held in the System of Electronic Trading in Arrested Property (SETAM).
The total starting price for two lots is UAH 3,814,003.
“These vessels are at our auction for the first time. Dozens of vessels and boats of various sizes and types have already been sold through OpenMarket. Among the sold lots are motor ships, tankers, barges, barges, boats and other watercraft. So we expect demand among our buyers for these lots,” said Roman Osadchuk, Acting General Director of SE SETAM.
“Mars” is a bunkering tanker built in 1975 in Bulgaria. The vessel’s length is 56.7 m, width is 10.5 m, deadweight is 1,621 tons. The vessel is in disrepair and requires factory repairs. Starting price — UAH 1,992,392.
“Pegasus” is an oil tanker built in 1981. The largest length is 34.71 m, the largest width is 7.4 m, deadweight is 264 tons. The vessel is equipped with systems and mechanisms, without emergency and rescue equipment and radio navigation equipment. “Pegasus” is in the sludge of the port of Chornomorsk and requires factory repairs. Starting price — UAH 1,821,611.
Auctions for the sale of both arrested vessels will start on January 3, 2025.
