Shares of Ukrainian agricultural holdings rose sharply on news of peace talks

Shares of Ukrainian companies are showing rapid growth after news of possible peace talks with the participation of Donald Trump.
The capitalization of Ukrainian companies has increased sharply after reports of Donald Trump’s initiative for peace talks between Ukraine and Russia, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
In particular, shares of Ferrexpo on the London Stock Exchange increased by 18.06%, and agricultural holding MHP – by 13.29% as of 11:00 Kyiv time. Also, against the background of these reports, the prices of other Ukrainian companies on the Warsaw Stock Exchange are rising.
According to its data, the following companies showed the greatest growth:
• Milkiland (+12.11%);
• Coal Energy (+6.79%);
• Astarta (+5.36%);
• Agroton (+4.56%);
• IMC (+3.72%);
• KSG Agro (+4.85%).
In addition, shares of the largest oil producer Kernel rose by 7.91%, although they are not part of the Ukrainian stock exchange index due to a small free-float.
Earlier, USM reported that Donald Trump had imposed a 25% tariff on steel imports and also canceled the duty-free regime for Ukraine.
