Ukraine exported almost 5 million tons of agricultural products in February


In February 2025, Ukraine exported 4.9 million tons of agricultural products.

This is only 1.3% less than in January this year, the Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club (UCAB) reports.

“The main changes relate to the increase in the volume of oilseed exports (activation of soybean exports due to favorable price conditions) and the decrease in the volume of exports of vegetable oil products (mainly sunflower oil and oilcake),” the report says.

The volume of grain exports remains almost at the same level.

The structure of product exports in February 2025 was as follows:

• grain crops: 3.4 million tons (corn – 53%, wheat – 34%, barley – 2%). The decrease compared to the previous month: -1%;

• oilseed crops – 418.2 thousand. tons (soybean – 91% and rapeseed – 7%). Growth: +19%;

• vegetable oils – 385.1 thousand tons (sunflower oil – 84% and soybean – 15%). Fall: -9%;

• oilcake after extraction of vegetable oils – 347.7 thousand tons (sunflower – 57%, soybean – 43%). Fall: -14%;

• other types of agro-industrial products – 326.5 thousand tons. Fall: -1%.

As previously reported by USM, Ukrainian exports of grains and oilseeds reached $11 billion this season.
