Ukraine’s agricultural exports grew by 9.8%: key figures and trends


The growth in export volumes affected all groups of goods, in particular processed oilseed products.

In March 2025, Ukraine exported 5.4 million tons of agricultural products, which is 9.8% more compared to the previous month. This was reported by analysts of the Ukrainian Agricultural and Food Agency.

An increase in export volumes was observed across all groups of goods. The greatest growth was recorded in the segment of oilseed processed products, in particular, oilcake and oil, the exports of which increased by 42% and 29%, respectively.

The structure of agricultural exports in March 2025 was as follows:

• grain crops – 3.6 million tons (of which 66% – corn, 31% – wheat, 2% – barley). Growth compared to the previous month: +5%;

• oilseed crops – 433.6 thousand. tons (of which 85% — soybean, 7% — rapeseed, 6% — sunflower). Growth: +4%;

• vegetable oils – 495.6 thousand tons (89% — sunflower oil, 11% — soybean). Growth: +29%;

• oilcake after extraction of vegetable oils – 493.5 thousand tons (70% — sunflower, 30% — soybean). Growth: +11%;

• other types of agro-industrial products – 363.2 thousand tons. Growth: +11%.

The day before, USM informed that since the beginning of the 2024-2025 MY Ukraine exported 32.389 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, of which 3.206 million tons were shipped in March.
