In July, Ukraine exported oil worth $537.9 million

According to the State Customs Service, in July, Ukraine exported goods to foreign markets for over $3.3 billion, which is $167.8 million (5.4%) more than in June of this year.
In just 7 months of this year, Ukrainian exports of goods amounted to over $23 billion, according to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
The main export item of Ukraine remains agricultural and food industry goods. In July, they reached $1.7 billion – more than half of total exports. A significant share of exports also includes iron ore, certain types of mechanical engineering and metallurgy products.
In terms of product volume, in July, Ukraine exported 8.2 million tons of goods, including 3.5 million tons of agricultural products. In addition, compared to June, the physical volumes of transportation by sea and road transport increased (+7.1% and +4.4%, respectively), but the transportation of goods by rail decreased (-1.5%).
In July, Ukraine exported the most by value:
• sunflower oil ($537.9 million or 464 thousand tons);
• iron ore and concentrates ($190.1 million or 3.0 million tons);
• wheat ($159.0 million or 732.8 thousand tons);
• soybeans ($151.0 million or 375.2 thousand tons);
• corn ($145.0 million or 617.7 thousand tons);
• insulated wires ($108.2 million or 5.8 thousand tons);
• poultry meat ($96.5 million or 34.1 thousand tons).
It should be noted that in July, goods worth $1.9 billion were exported to the EU countries (+10.1% compared to June this year). The largest buyers of Ukrainian products were Poland ($405.9 million), the Netherlands ($201.8 million), Germany ($199.8 million), Spain ($161.4 million) and Italy ($142.5 million).
As for other countries of the world, the largest consumers of Ukrainian exports were China ($212.4 million), Turkey ($149.2 million), India ($140.8 million), Egypt ($110.9 million) and Moldova ($100.3 million).
