Russia again blocks Kerch Strait from Ukrainian naval drones

The invaders continue to erect barriers near the Kerch Bridge, effectively narrowing the waterway and restricting shipping.
Russia is strengthening the protection of the Kerch Bridge from attacks by Ukrainian naval drones by erecting new barrier structures in the strait. This is reported by “Crimean Wind”.

Under the navigable arches of the bridge, the occupiers are sinking massive metal structures known as “hedgehogs”. Such measures make traffic in the area of the bridge even more limited. Now only Russian military ships and boats, as well as pilot vessels that have classified maps of underwater obstacles, can pass unhindered.
It is known that the Russians began erecting barriers in the form of “hedgehogs” back in September 2024. Since then, hundreds of structures of various sizes have already been lowered to the bottom of the Kerch Strait.

Analysts note that such actions by the occupiers indicate growing fears of attacks by Ukrainian unmanned boats, which have repeatedly breached the defenses of Russian naval bases in the Black Sea.

Earlier, USM reported that the occupiers may be dredging near the Kerch Bridge.
