Ukrzaliznytsia is working to increase the number of freight trains to ports

UZ reported that railway workers are gradually managing to normalize train traffic towards ports despite attacks by the Russian Federation on railway infrastructure
This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.
“Railway workers are gradually managing to normalize train traffic towards ports, which is significantly complicated by systematic targeted enemy attacks on railway energy infrastructure. For this, Ukrzaliznytsia is attracting additional locomotives and resources to restore power supply in these areas,” UZ noted.
In addition, the head of the company’s cargo division, Oleksandr Nosulko, is currently working in Odessa and held a meeting with representatives of the port industry. During the meeting, they discussed coordinating the work of Ukrzaliznytsia and ports for “more rhythmic work, increasing transportation volumes, and controlling the security situation.”
UZ also appealed to cargo owners to plan shipments taking into account current capacity and adhere to all agreed schedules to ensure uninterrupted logistics.
Earlier, USM reported that in the Odesa region, traffic was temporarily blocked on the highway connecting the ports of Great Odesa and the ports on the Danube.
