Collaborator-commander of Russian submarine that attacked Ukraine with Kalibrs reported under suspicion

The SBU reported in absentia about suspicions against one of the commanders of the Russian submarine that attacked Ukraine with Kalibr missiles.
This is Alexei Olkhovsky, the commander of combat unit No. 1 of the Russian class 636.3 submarine Varshavyanka, the SBU reported.
According to the investigation, 30-year-old Olkhovsky had been serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Crimea since 2012. However, after the capture of the Ukrainian peninsula, he betrayed his oath and went over to the enemy.
As the investigation established, Olkhovsky took a direct part in the hostilities as the commander of the combat unit of a submarine of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. In this position, the traitor was responsible for controlling and navigating the submarine, as well as setting a course to combat positions from which the occupiers launch Kalibr cruise missiles across Ukraine.
Among the main “targets” of the submarine crew are civilian infrastructure and life support systems for the population of Ukraine. Based on the evidence collected, SBU investigators in absentia reported Oleksiy Olkhovskyi on suspicion under Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason).
Since the attacker is in the temporarily occupied part of the territory of Ukraine, comprehensive measures are underway to find and punish him.
Earlier, USM reported that the SBU has published new details of the operation to blow up the Project 636.3 submarine “Varshavyanka” in Novorossiysk.
