The Cabinet of Ministers approved the composition of the commission that will conduct the audit of ARMA

The commission that will assess the effectiveness of ARMA includes experts from the Netherlands, Romania, Britain and Poland.

This was reported by the press service of the Assets Tracing and Management Agency (ARMA).

As part of the reform of the Assets Tracing and Management Agency, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, by its order No. 71-r dated January 28, 2026, approved the composition of the Commission for conducting an independent external assessment (audit) of the effectiveness of ARMA.

The commission includes:

• Jacqueline Van Den Bosch – a Dutch lawyer, specialist in corporate criminal law, anti-corruption and asset confiscation.

• Cornel-Virgiliu Călinescu – a Romanian expert in criminal law and asset recovery.

• Jill Thomas – a British expert in asset recovery and management.

• Przemysław Musyalkowski – Polish expert in law and politics (candidate for replacement in case of early termination of the powers of a member of the Commission).

The ARMA noted that conducting an independent external assessment (audit) of the effectiveness of the agency’s activities is a key element of the implementation of the Law of Ukraine No. 4503-IX and an important component of fulfilling Ukraine’s European integration obligations within the framework of the negotiation process for EU membership under Chapter 24 “Justice, Freedom and Security”.

“The audit results are necessary for an objective assessment of the agency’s activities, determining areas for its further improvement, fulfilling Ukraine’s European integration obligations and ensuring transparent and effective management of seized assets,” the department emphasized.

We will remind, in November 2025 it became known that ARMA is conducting a full identification of seized assets for the first time in 10 years.
