The Ministry of Development and the EBA presented the Chornomorsk port concession project to investors

The Ministry of Development, together with the European Investment Bank, organized an event for Ukrainian and European investors to discuss investment opportunities in the port industry.
Deputy Minister Andriy Kashuba and members of the tender committee participated in the event, the ministry reported.
He presented the public-private partnership project in the port of Chornomorsk. During the meeting, they discussed the implementation of the project, the timeline of the next stages of the tender, and the investor selection procedure. In particular, the members of the tender committee said that the tender will be held in three stages – prequalification, dialogue with prequalified participants, and a call for proposals.
To ensure transparency and compliance with best international practices, the EBRD and IFC were involved in preparing the tender. The EBRD recently announced its support for an open and competitive tender in the port of Chornomorsk.
In addition, the participants expressed interest in other PPP projects that are being implemented or are being prepared for launch in Ukraine, and the possibility of joining their implementation.
