The Russian port of Ust-Luga is under attack again

The Russian port of Ust-Luga, which is one of the key hubs for Russian oil exports in the Baltics, has been attacked again.

The port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region of Russia has been attacked again. This was stated by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andriy Kovalenko.

This is not the first time that Ust-Luga has been under attack. In March, drones repeatedly attacked the Leningrad region, and among the damaged facilities was this Baltic port, which plays an important role in Russian energy exports.

As a reminder, the port recently partially resumed oil loading after several days of disruptions caused by previous attacks.

In particular, the Aframax-class vessel Jewel began loading on April 4. As of the morning of April 6, the tanker was loaded, but did not yet have a clear destination.

Also, the day before, USM reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had hit the frigate Admiral Grigorovich in the port of Novorossiysk.
