The consequences of the oil spill after the Russian attack are being eliminated in the port of Chornomorsk

The liquidation of the consequences of the sunflower oil spill after the enemy drone strike continues in the seaport of Chornomorsk.
This was reported by the USPA.
Specialists of the Chornomorsk Seaport Administration, together with the Chornomorsk city territorial community and specialized services, are working on the liquidation of the consequences. All necessary resources have been involved in the work.
The main part of the pollution was managed to be promptly localized within the port’s water area. At the same time, some of the substance got onto the territory of the city beach.
Boom barriers with absorbent materials were installed on the coast.
The measures taken yielded results – the city beach has been cleared of pollution.
The situation is under constant control of specialists from the port, city authorities and the State Environmental Inspectorate. Work in the waters of the Chornomorsk port is ongoing.
Earlier, USM reported that oil pollution from the Chornomorsk port reaches 700 meters along the coast.
