Ukraine attacked a tanker of the Russian “shadow fleet” in the Black Sea


Ukraine hit the tanker of the Russian “shadow fleet” WEST Horizon in the Black Sea. The damage to the ship’s propeller and steering group has been confirmed.

This was reported by the General Staff.

The tanker WEST Horizon is used in the schemes of the Russian “shadow fleet” to transport oil and oil products in circumvention of international sanctions and restrictions.

Ukraine also hit the Kuibyshev oil refinery in the Samara region of the Russian Federation. The damage to the target and a fire on the territory of the enterprise have been confirmed.

The Kuibyshev refinery is one of the largest oil refining enterprises of the Samara group of the Russian Federation. The annual processing volume is about 3.7 million tons of oil.

The enterprise produces gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil and other oil products used to meet the needs of the military-industrial complex and the occupation forces of the aggressor state.

Earlier, the USM reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the damage to the port of Mariupol.
