USPA and Babcock International discussed cooperation in the field of port security


The management of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration” held a working meeting with representatives of the British company Babcock International.

This is one of the world leaders in the field of engineering solutions for defense and critical infrastructure, the USPA said.

During the meeting, the parties discussed solutions that could be used to protect, restore and modernize Ukrainian port infrastructure. The meeting also discussed the prospects for implementing joint projects aimed at increasing the resilience of the maritime industry in the face of military challenges.

Following the negotiations, the USPA and Babcock International agreed to continue working on developing promising areas of cooperation and opportunities for the practical implementation of joint initiatives.

The State Enterprise “USPA” thanked the British partners for their open dialogue, readiness for cooperation and consistent support for Ukraine. The development of international partnership remains an important component of strengthening the resilience of port infrastructure and its further restoration, the department added.

USM previously reported that the USPA and the Port of Antwerp-Bruges signed a memorandum of cooperation.
