Russia attacked the Vynogradivka checkpoint on the border with Moldova

Currently, traffic through the international checkpoint “Vynohradivka” is completely suspended, and transport is being redirected to other checkpoints.

On the night of August 25, Russian troops attacked the international automobile checkpoint “Vynohradivka” on the border of Ukraine with Moldova with Shahed drones. The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported this.

As a result of the attack, the infrastructure of the checkpoint was damaged. Rescuers localized the fire that broke out after the attack.

Currently, the passage of citizens and vehicles through “Vynohradivka” is temporarily suspended. The Moldovan side has been informed about the situation.

Transport that was supposed to cross the border through this checkpoint is being redirected to other checkpoints.

Ukrainian border guards called on to take into account the temporary restriction when planning trips across the state border.
