Ukraine will supply gas turbine units for the Indian Navy
SE “Zorya” – “Mashproekt” has signed a contract with the Indian company Goa Shipyard Limited for the supply of two gas turbine units. The enterprise is part of Ukroboronprom.
Gas turbine units М7Н2 will be installed on new multipurpose frigates, which will be built for the Indian Navy. According to the terms of the contract, the first unit will be ready in December 2022, and the second in July 2023, the press service of the enterprise reports.
The M7H2 units have an upgraded microprocessor control system, with a power of 58 thousand hp and can reach a speed of 55 km/h.
Over the past two weeks, SE “Zorya” – “Mashproekt” has signed several contracts with Indian customers for a total of about US $100 million.
