Ukrainian grain exports exceeded 4 million tons in October
If the “grain corridor” is closed, Ukraine will be able to export only 1.5-2 million tons of grain per month.
In October, the export of wheat amounted to 1.9 million tons (compared with 1.75 million tons last month), corn – 3 million tons, barley – 313 thousand tons. Further export dynamics remain uncertain due to Russia’s announcement of withdrawal from the agreement, writes the analytical publication Share Ua Potential.

According to forecasts, when the “grain corridor” is closed, Ukraine will be able to export 1.5-2 million tons of grain per month, which is more than in the first months of the war, but significantly less than in September-October.
“Today, export prices in Ukrainian ports are $15-20 higher than prices on the western borders of Ukraine, which is not very critical. On the other hand, if the corridors are closed, it is possible to predict a significant increase in the demand for logistics services for exports via routes through the western border, due to which the cost of these logistics services may increase again,” the analysts write.
