Already 6 states have confirmed the financing of sending ships from Ukraine, — President’s office

Several countries, in particular Germany, Belgium and Poland, have already confirmed the financing of grain shipments from Ukraine.
Countries pay for the shipping of ships that are going to or have already arrived to countries in need of food. This was announced by the deputy head of the Office of the President, Andrii Sybiga.
The OP representative also noted that preliminary confirmations were provided by Japan, Turkey and the USA.
On Thursday, November 17, a meeting of the head of the OP regarding the implementation of the Grain from Ukraine initiative was held with the participation of representatives of Bankova street, ministries and departments, as well as ambassadors of Ukraine, foreign diplomats and representatives of international organizations.
During the meeting, German Ambassador to Ukraine Anka Feldhusen assured that her country is ready to continue financing the sending of ships with grain to countries that need it.
Ambassador of Turkey Jagmur Ahmet Güldere said that his country is currently considering how to help in the implementation of the Grain from Ukraine initiative.
Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine Fan Xianzhong also spoke: he noted that the People’s Republic of China supports steps to ensure global food security.
Representatives of the US Embassy in Ukraine also expressed their support for the Ukrainian initiative and declared their readiness to cooperate.
