A Russian anti-submarine ship caught fire in the Barents Sea
The Russian anti-submarine ship “Admiral Levchenko” caught fire in the Barents Sea.
An engine installation caught fire on the ship, Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, said.
“This is what happens when a “superpower” receives sanctions from Ukraine and cannot independently service engines produced in Mykolaiv. 10 years was not enough to solve this problem. One of the installations caught fire,” he commented.
USM previously reported that as a result of Ukrainian drone attacks on Black Sea Fleet ships, the Russians were forced to redeploy their ships from the temporarily occupied Crimea to Novorossiysk. However, as of June 5, the ships of the invaders began to massively leave the base.
