A warehouse collapsed in the port of Odesa: there is a diseased person

A warehouse building collapsed on the territory of the Odesa Sea Trade Port.

In the evening of July 20, a warehouse building collapsed on the territory of the Odesa port. Two men were under the rubble, the press service of the State Emergency Service reported.

Rescuers unblocked one victim with the help of a hydraulic tool and a gas cutter. He was given first aid and handed over to medics.

Unfortunately, the second man was removed by the emergency services without signs of life.

The probable cause of the destruction was cited by the State Emergency Service as a violation of safety techniques during construction work.

4 units of equipment, 20 rescuers and the canine department of the State Emergency Service were involved during the demolition of the debris.

Previously, USM wrote that the court seized grain worth more than UAH 80 million, which was stored at the Olympex terminal in the port of Odesa.
