ARMA will check the expenses of managers with seized property
The Agency for Search and Management of Assets (ARMA) is launching a large-scale audit of the validity of the declared expenses of managers of seized property.
ARMA explained that this step is due to a number of letters from managers (in particular, from Naftogazenergia LLC), who ask the Agency to agree on multimillion-dollar planned monetary expenditures that exceed the expected amount of monetary expenditures.
The department’s press service noted that the management of ARMA could agree on additional expenses of managers, which reached tens of millions of hryvnias, until 2023, due to which the budget did not receive funds.
“The National Agency takes thorough measures to control costs under all approved management contracts. The authority cannot fail to take this step, considering the proposed amounts to be unconfirmed. We will also involve law enforcement agencies in the audit, which will give a legal assessment of these facts and conduct an objective investigation,” ARMA head Olena Duma said.
