Britain will hand over 23 high-speed boats for Ukrainian Navy

Great Britain will provide Ukraine with 23 high-speed patrol boats.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the transfer of 23 vessels on the X social network.
We will remind, Great Britain and Norway headed a new maritime coalition to help Ukraine.
Within the framework of the initiative, the country will supply the Armed Forces with ships and other vehicles to strengthen the ability to conduct combat operations at sea. The coalition will also transfer two Sandown-class minesweepers to Ukraine to detect and destroy sea mines.
It is also reported that the naval coalition will closely cooperate with the Navy and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to develop the Navy in the Black Sea, modernize Ukrainian marines and river patrol ships to protect coastal areas, as well as inland waterways.
Certificate. An Offshore Raiding Craft (ORC) is a small speedboat used by the Royal Marines for troop landings as well as area patrols. ORCs are mostly used during strategic raid missions.
The ORC is equipped with several general purpose machine guns, as well as protection against enemy fire. The boat can be launched from a helicopter or ship of any size.
