Bulgaria is preparing a mechanism for licensing sunflower imports from Ukraine
The Bulgarian government is currently preparing proposals for the implementation of the licensing procedure for supplies of Ukrainian agricultural products, in particular, sunflowers.
This was stated by the Minister of Agriculture of Bulgaria Kyrylo Vatev during a meeting in Luxembourg with the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reports.
“The parties discussed the export of Ukrainian agricultural products. In particular, the details of the implementation of the licensing mechanism for certain types of agricultural products proposed by Ukraine,” the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported.
It is noted that Vatiev assured to support the development of the Ukrainian agricultural sector.
The ministers also agreed to coordinate the situation regarding the timing of the start of exports under the new rules and the list of types of agricultural products.
