Drug smuggling was exposed in the port of the Mykolaiv region

In one of the ports of the Mykolaiv region, customs officers found a cargo of substances prohibited for sales in Ukraine.
The goods were found during the implementation of border and customs control and registration of the vessel under the flag of Italy, which arrived from Malta.
During the inspection of the vessel, customs officers found 132 superpotent drugs that were not declared in the prescribed form. According to the legislation of Ukraine, they are classified as narcotic and psychotropic substances, the sales of which is limited.
Employees of the Mykolaiv customs drew up a protocol on violation of customs rules under Art. 472 of the Customs Code. The goods themselves were temporarily confiscated.
