In February, a record 8 million tons of cargo were exported through the maritime corridor
The cargo turnover of the ports of Great Odesa in the shortest month of the year amounted to 8 million tons, of which 5.2 million were agricultural products.
This was announced by the Minister of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Oleksandr Kubrakov.
According to him, a record volume of cargo was exported through the Ukrainian maritime corridor in February.
“The cargo turnover of the ports of Great Odesa in the shortest month of the year amounted to 8 million tons, of which 5.2 were products of Ukrainian farmers. These are record export figures not only through the sea corridor, but also during the full-scale invasion,” Kubrakov noted.
He also added that Ukraine is gradually approaching pre-war export figures through these ports.

At the same time, Ukraine remains one of the key guarantors of food security. Especially as regards the export of grain to the countries of Africa and Asia.
In total, 42 countries have received almost 28 million tons of cargo since the beginning of the Ukrainian maritime corridor, of which 19 million tons are grain and oil.
As previously reported by USM, in the first half of February, 2.6 million tons of agricultural products were exported through the ports of Great Odesa, and 581 thousand tons through the ports of the Danube.
