In five months, the ports of Ukraine processed more than 45 million tons

Cargo turnover in the ports of Ukraine for January-May amounted to 45.8 million tons.
This is reported by the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
For example, in January-May 2024, the ports of Ukraine processed 45.8 million tons, which is almost twice as much as in 2023.
AMPU emphasized that they are working on:
• expansion of the cargo nomenclature;
• resumption of container and ferry transportation.
In particular, under a favorable security situation, it is expected to return to the average pre-war level of freight traffic.

As previously reported by USM, Ukraine exported about 6 million tons of agricultural products by sea in May.
