In Reni, a seafarer fell from a dry cargo vessel, rescuers and divers are looking for him

In the Reni port, a 41-year-old boatswain fell from the board of the dry-cargo vessel Right Step.

The incident happened today, October 28th, when the vessel “Right Step” was docked at the 20th berth of the port. According to preliminary information, the seafarer was standing on the edge of the deck, which could have caused the fall. This was reported by the press service of the Izmail City District Branch of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.

At the moment, the search for the seafarer is carried out in the area of ​​the Danube coastline.

Rescuers and a diving group of three people have already been involved in the search.
